Victoria and Friends

What a lovely place to live.. Victoria has definitely gotten Eric and mine attention. Is is being close to water, the ocean? the amazing weather we've had? Or is it the deer that roam the beautiful neighbourhoods that make it seem so idyllic. But it sure is nice here. The ties that bind us to our home back in Ontario are starting to slacken with the lure of new places and spaces to live in.  But for now....we are having an amazing visit with our friends.

1st night in Victoria - great vista from Mount Tolme

Just a little coolant leak....
found a Bug shop, got it fixed ($$$$!)
Yum... Fish and Chips at Fisherman's Wharf
(Eric, Saya, Liam, Alec, Rai, Miya and Sean)

Happiness is having bubble gum ice cream with friends.
(Sean, Liam, Saya and Miya)
A short stroll  from Alec and Rai's house..
can you see why we are enamoured with Victoria!?
San Juan Islands (USA) in the distance
Glencoe Cove

Liam found "gold"
Deer everywhere.. practically as common as squirrels
Enjoying an organic coffee at Moss Street Saturday Market

Fun times with Pirate Adventures - inner harbour
(Empress Hotel in background) (and adults got dressed up too!)

Liam turns to me with water gun in hand " This so much fun!"

Harbour Seal at Fisherman's Wharf

Feeding the resident seal

We have one more day in Victoria and tomorrow we are going to the Royal BC Museum which is rated as one of the top 10 in North America!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
